Looters target West Oaks Mall in Ocoee

Clean-up crews were at the West Oaks Mall in Ocoee Sunday, May 31, to clean and repair damage caused by looters overnight.

A video circulating on social media shows cars in the parking lot late last night, with people running in and out of the mall with items. Looters broke several panes of glass in one of the mall entrances. On Sunday, those panes were replaced with plywood.

The mall was closed to shoppers Sunday, and mall security was not allowing press into the mall. It is unknown what damage was done inside or to what businesses.
