PHOTOS: Weather shortens preseason game between Windermere Prep and Trinity Prep -- Observer Preps

Two lightning delays were two too many, as the game saw only three plays from scrimmage.

WINDERMERE The Trinity Prep Saints traveled all the way from Winter Park to Windermere to face the Windermere Prep Lakers Aug. 17 in a Kickoff Classic, but Mother Nature had other plans.

After two lightning delays the game was called, with just three plays occurring from scrimmage and neither team scoring.

Both teams will be on the road next week. Windermere Prep will travel to SSAC opponent St. Stephen's and Trinity Prep will travel to Holy Trinity.
