Orange County Public Schools announced it has canceled all school and activities through Friday, Sept. 30.

This applies to all sports activities, including a full slate of football games scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30.

"Due to the latest path the storm is expected to make, school and extracurricular activities have now been canceled Wednesday, Sept. 28, through Friday, Sept. 30," district officials announced. "Athletic events will be rescheduled. This will allow district maintenance crews the time to clear any debris in the aftermath of the storm, as well as allow our employees and families to do the same."

The school district previously had announced cancellations of classes and activities for Wednesday, Sept. 28, and Thursday, Sept. 29.
