Horizon West is soon to welcome one of the largest department stores in the United States.

Target, first opened in 1962, now has over 200 locations in Florida alone and near 2,000 in the U.S.

Now, the department giant is making its way into Horizon West.

The store at Flamingo Crossings is set to host its grand opening on Sunday, Nov. 14, although the store is likely to be open several days earlier for a “soft opening."

The new small-scale location will be approximately 29,000 square feet, compared to other larger stores, which can be close to 100,000 square feet.

Those who wish to visit the new Target can do so at 204 Ruby Red Place in Flamingo Crossings.
