Spring Break: Haiku & Craft — 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at the Windermere Branch Library, 530 Main St., Windermere. Haiku is a type of poetry from Japan. Sign up now to practice Haiku writing skills and enjoy making a Japanese craft. Seating is limited. To register, call (407) 835-7323.

FRIDAY, March 27

Paint Party — 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the Winter Garden Art Association, 127 S. Boyd St., Winter Garden. Guests will create an original painting and have fun while doing it. No prior talent or experience is necessary. Just bring a creative spirit and adult refreshments of choice. Ages 21 and older are welcome. The gallery will provide all painting materials. Eggstraordinary! — 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Tibet-Butler Preserve and Vera Carter Environmental Center, 8777 County Road 535, Orlando. Hop into a fun-filled class to create a festive craft to take home for the holiday. Discover how eggs develop, see the eggs of some local birds and decorate chicken eggs. Garden Theatre 2015 Spring Classes: ABCs of Acting — 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. Tuesdays, March 31 through May 19, at the theater, 160 W. Plant St., Winter Garden. An acting class for self-expression and self-confidence, this class encourages each child in a relaxed and positive environment. Tuition is $250; class is open to children ages 7 to 12. Florida Film Academy T-Shirt Contest — Florida Film Academy is hosting a contest for kids to design its 2015 summer camp T-shirts. Anyone wanting to enter should visit flfilmacademy.com for the competition and submission details.  There will be two winners — the academy’s choice and the audience choice — each winning a week’s summer camp at either Florida Film Academy’s Winter Garden or Sarasota location.
