GAME OF THE WEEK - West Orange Times & Observer

West Orange 28, Apopka 3

After Apopka kicked a field goal in the first quarter, the West Orange defense held the Blue Darters — who had been averaging 39.4 points per game this fall — scoreless the rest of the way. Woody Barrett rushed for two touchdowns. The Warriors are 5-1 overall and 1-0 in district competition.

GAME OF THE WEEK - Windermere Observer

Zephyrhills Christian Academy 29, Windermere Prep 28

A thrilling game saw ZCA score with just under a minute to play to steal a victory from the Windermere Prep Lakers. Windermere Prep is now 2-3 this fall.

Legacy Charter 57, Mt. Dora Christian 0

Eagles rough up Mt. Dora Christian to celebrate their Senior Night and return to win column. Legacy is now 4-2.

Dr. Phillips 34, Oak Ridge 7

Tanner Ingle recorded his fifth interception of the season, which he returned for a touchdown, and the Panthers got back in the win column after a three-game skid. Dr. Phillips is now 3-3, overall, and 1-0 in district competition.

Olympia 20, Freedom 12

In the Olympia Titans' win over Freedom, Bradley Dos Santos scored both of Olympia's touchdowns on the night. The second half of the game was scoreless for both teams. The Titans are now 5-1 overall, 2-0 in district play.

Foundation Academy 42, Cornerstone Charter 7

After losing four straight games to begin the season, Foundation Academy has won two in a row. Lions victory over Cornerstone has them at 1-0 in district play, 2-4 overall.

Hagerty 28, Ocoee 17

Jamel Hyatt's long kickoff return for a touchdown sparked Ocoee to 10 unanswered points to enter halftime down four, but that was as close as the Knights could get to Hagerty. The Huskies capitalized on consecutive turnovers late in the third quarter for a 28-17 final.

CFCA 46, Ocala Christian 6

Freshman quarterback Kai Patterson recorded his first multi-touchdown game and the Eagles have now won four consecutive games. CFCA is 4-1.
