After attending four years of in-person classes and various online classes through the Winter Garden Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 34 local students are graduating from the Seminary program.

The students attended classes between 5:15 and 5:50 a.m. every day Mondays through Thursdays for four years.

Besides attending classes, they served in food pantries, volunteered to pick up trash in the community and participated in clothing drives.

“Early morning Seminary is a remarkable example of the faith and dedication of our youth,” said Yeny Andrade, who teaches one of the eight in-person classes. “Despite busy schedules and long days, they choose to wake up early to study the gospel and strengthen their relationship with Jesus Christ.”
