Election day on the horizon for West Orange voters

Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Aug. 30, to vote county candidates into roles such as school board member and county commissioner.

WEST ORANGE  With early voting coming to an end, the big day is upon us: Primary election day.

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, the state of Florida holds its primary and county elections. West Orange voters will get to head to the polls to choose their candidates for multiple officers, including United States Senator, School Board Member for districts 4 and 7, comptroller and District 1 County Commissioner.

The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Voters are required to vote in the polling location assigned to the precinct where they live. They must also bring both photo and signature identification.
