Orange County Public Schools is seeking feedback regarding testing, teacher evaluations and how to improve schools.

If you are a parent, student, teacher, administrator or community member with ties to the public school system, you are invited to take the survey at http://bit.ly/29bqjSq.

OCPS will pass input from the survey along to the state of Florida.

The survey is available in response to the Every Student Succeeds Act, signed into law in December 2015. The law, which intends to give states more flexibility in making decisions on testing, teacher evaluations and improving low-performing schools, requires that the state seek out parent and community feedback in these areas.

The state will put its accountability plans into place for the 2017-18 school year.
