During Friday's ceremony, students from the Ocoee Middle School gave thank you cards to all the veterans in attendance, including World War II Army veteran Lawrence LeRoy Cheever.
Members of the Ocoee Police and Fire Department's Honor Guards brought the ceremony to a close by retiring the colors and raising the American Flag.

OCOEE The City of Ocoee held a Veterans Day ceremony on Friday morning to honor all members of the U.S. armed forces. Held at Bill Breeze Park, the ceremony included musical performances by the Ocoee Middle School Wind Ensemble, keynote speaker Steve Shuga with the American Legion Department of Florida and guest of honor Donald Kaup, a World War II Navy veteran who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The ceremony concluded after Ocoee Mayor Rusty Johnson placed a wreath at the Veteran's Memorial in Bill Breeze Park.
