The body of a white female was found in a retention pond after a witness informed the Winter Garden Police Department they saw a car drive into a retention pond early Sunday.

The deceased woman, Deborah Lynn Williamson, had a tragic accident after driving into a retention pond on Tilden Road near Tiny Road at 12:53 a.m., according to a WGPD press release.

WGPD officers who responded to the call were unable to locate any victims initially, as the car had sunken deep into the pond. However, assistance from Orlando Police Department's dive team revealed Williamson's body.

An additional search conducted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s Marine Unit this morning confirmed there were no additional victims. The vehicle has been removed from the pond and causes into the accident are being investigated.
