OCOEE – Candy-filled easter eggs – 15,000 of them, to be exact – were the source of excitement and cheer for children aged 12-and-under who participated in the City of Ocoee’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza hosted at the Jim Beech Recreation Center Saturday morning.
Kids eagerly lined up along the periphery of an enclosed space in the recreational field with thousands of candy-filled Easter eggs lying in wait amongst the blades of grass. As soon as they were given the go-ahead, the children sprinted around the field to claim their share of eggs. After the egg hunts, families were invited to partake in Easter Bunny photo shoots, get their face painted and frolic about in the bounce houses.
