"I really like dogs, and I used to doodle henna designs on my papers during class,” said Sabrina Viteri, who included paw prints on her creation.
Ocoee High Senior Anastasia Spruce is helped by her mom, Stacy, in painting the logo for Nebraska University, where Spruce plans to attend college.
Karina McKone spent hours sketching and painting a bird on her spot. "I really like birds,” McKone said. “If you know me personally you'd know that I really birds, and so I wanted to do something that represented myself."
Kacy Cartwright painted a Disney-themed mural displaying the character Rapunzel from the movie Tangled.
Victoria Skipper’s Disney-themed artwork depicted Rapunzel from the movie Tangled. “She is my favorite Disney princess, and I'm obsessed with Disney,” Skipper said.
Brooke Kennedy worked together with her friend Mallory Greenwood to draw a colorful mermaid on Kennedy’s parking spot. "I've grown up being by the ocean, so I decided to do a mermaid because this describes me,” Kennedy said.
Maegan Conlon centered her painting on a strawberry to match her best friend's parking spot, who drew a pineapple. The two friends first met in middle school and discussed which was the better fruit.
Ely Martinez decided to draw Mr. Incredible on his own space. "I'm a big superhero geek,” Martinez said.
Kara Grenzer drew the logo for Ohio State University in anticipation of studying there in the future.
Stephanie Castaneda, Yeralis Goby, and Ely Martinez helped Alexis Romasco draw big sun flowers on her parking space.
Megan Kelly (left) got help from her friends, Zoe Brown and Miranda "Mo" Smyka, in sketching the house from the Disney Movie Up. “I’m a Disney fanatic,” said Kelly. “I go there every week because my dad works there.”
Andrea Gonzalez, Alexis Martinez, and Honor Fogle teamed up to create Gonzalez’s parking spot mural, which depicts a camera and sunset.
Anallely Zubieta chose to go for humor on her parking spot. Jose Diaz helped her with the painting.
OCOEE – Using their parking space as a canvas for their creativity, Ocoee High School seniors gathered under the scorching summer sun to spend hours painting murals that they felt best represented themselves on their parking spaces. Some seniors depicted characters from their favorite Disney movies, some painted the logo for the universities they plan to attend upon graduation while others chose to go for something a little more humorous or symbolic of their personality and hobbies.
