One of the high school’s featured soloists during the concert was trumpeter Ely Martinez.
Ocoee High senior Shomar Monroe had several solos throughout the concert.
The Ocoee High School Jazz Ensemble included several saxophone players, trombone players and trumpet players.
The University of Central Florida Jazz Band also made an appearance at the Sunshine Jazz Festival on Saturday, Feb. 4.
UCF student Saul Dautch performed a solo on the baritone saxophone during the concert.

To end the evening, the Peter and Will Anderson Trio performed.
The Peter and Will Anderson Trio travelled from New York City to participate in the Sunshine Jazz Festival at Ocoee High School.
OCOEE More than 350 area students representing more than 10 high school bands participated in the HAPCO Music Foundation’s Sunshine Jazz Festival on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Ocoee High School. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of clinics to expand their musical skills. The day’s activities concluded with a concert that featured the Ocoee High School Jazz Ensemble, the University of Central Florida Jazz Band and New York City jazzists - the Peter and Will Anderson Trio.
