HORIZON WEST  When one door closes, another door opens. For Lifebridge Church in Horizon West, another door for opportunity was opened recently with the hiring of its new senior pastor.

Lifebridge announced Sunday, Feb. 26, that it has officially hired its new senior pastor, Ralph Howe.

“Yesterday was a such a huge day for the Church,” Lifebridge posted on its Facbeook page. “We are so excited and beyond humbled to announce the hiring of our New Senior Pastor Ralph Howe and his family.”

Howe will be coming from the non-denominational Discovery Church’s central campus on Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando.

“Would you join us in saying a bittersweet goodbye to Central Campus pastor Ralph Howe,” Discovery Church posted on its Facebook page. “Pastor Ralph has been a Discovery Church fixture for many years leading both the Southwest and Central campuses. We pray blessing and protection for Ralph as he steps out in faith to follow God's leading. You will be missed.”

Discovery Church's post stated that Howe will be leaving its central campus in mid March.

According to Lifebridge's website, the role of the senior pastor is to serve on the church’s Elder Board and lead the church through preaching and teaching. Currently, Matt Heard is the interim teaching pastor at Lifebridge.
