WINTER GARDEN In the spirit of Christmas and with prizes in sight, Winter Garden residents prepare their golf carts this time each year for the annual holiday-themed parade down Plant Street. Strings of lights and inflatable characters are secured to the carts, Christmas music plays from speakers and the decorations and themes seem to get more intricate with each passing year. The Christmas golf-cart parade this year drew more than 100 entrants and raised more than $7,300 for Winter Garden’s Police Athletic League and the Edgewood Children’s Ranch.
