The Windermere Preparatory School officially opened the Cypress Center for the Performing Arts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 12. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, students and parents alike filled into the center's 550-seat theatre to watch performances from the Laker Symphony Orchestra, Windermere Preparatory School alumna Zoe Rosenfield, the Windermere Preperatory School's Dance Repertoire Company, and Juliard dance artist Carlye Eckert. The 34,000 square-foot facility also has music classrooms, ensemble rooms, two 1,400 square-foot dance studios and more.
