Food trucks descend on Bay Lake Elementary for back to school event

Bay Lake Elementary students and families were treated to a night of food trucks and fun at the school’s back-to-school event Friday, Aug. 16

Families went in and out all night to get dinner and let students socialize with classmates.

Students and their families closed out the first week of school on Friday, Aug. 16 at Bay Lake Elementary at their back-to-school event. Food trucks lined the school entrance, offering barbecue, chocolate-covered pretzels and more to choose from. Teachers, parents and students mingled in the shade, at picnic tables and by the playground, ready for the respite of the weekend.
