Windermere High student Bella Scramoncin is the only recipient in Florida of a national grant through FFA.

As a 2019 Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) Grant recipient, Scramoncin will receive $1,000 to help start or expand her SAE.

A limited number of grants of $1,000 each is available to current FFA members each year. FFA membership must be current and students must demonstrate financial need.

According to its website, "FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education." The organization also helps members develop their potential and discover their talent through hands-on experiences.

"Congratulations Bella Scramoncin for being the only 2019 SAE Grant recipient in the state of Florida!" Windermere FFA wrote on its Facebook page. "This is a national grant through FFA. This money will go toward her SAE project. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you will do."
