DR. PHILLIPS Students in Dr. Phillips High’s Center for International Studies magnet program got the chance to share the love of art with their peers Thursday, Feb. 28, during their International Art Night. Some performed instrumental pieces or sang during the event, others manned activity tables and served refreshments, and many submitted both two- and three-dimensional art pieces into the competition. The CIS magnet is designed to help students become more culturally aware of their surroundings and the world at large so they can understand the impact of international events on their daily lives.
