Second BurgerFi restaurant to open in Windermere area

Horizon West-area residents will soon be able to add BurgerFi to their list of lunch and dinner options.

BurgerFi, one of the nation's fastest-growing gourmet burger chains, will open its second Windermere-area location on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 5845 Winter Garden Vineland Road Suite 100. The new location is part of Windermere Village.

BurgerFi was established in 2011 and currently has more than 110 restaurants worldwide, with 25 in development. Franchise group Sunshine Burgers, which owns the new Windermere-area location, also owns four other BurgerFi locations in the Central Florida and Gainesville areas. 

“We’ve seen the demand for our better burger offerings in Orlando which has led us to expand the BurgerFi footprint with a second location here in Windermere,” franchisee Jim Pagano said in a press release. “We truly believe in the experience that we provide and look forward to serving the community with this new convenient location while offering a fun, family dining experience.”

At BurgerFi, guests can choose from chef-inspired menu items including premium craft burgers and a quinoa-based veggie burger. According to a press release, the new Windermere-area BurgerFi will serve one of the brand's newest items – the Fi’Ed Chicken Tenders, which features chicken breast tenders served with a choice of dipping sauce.

The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, click here.
