Windermere-based Better Man nonprofit offers daily encouragement

Although The Better Man Event has been postponed until November due to the coronavirus, founder and Windermere resident Brian Buckley is taking a new approach to encouraging men across Central Florida in the meantime.

Buckley announced the launch of The Better Man Moment at the end of March. The Better Man Moment is a daily video of encouragement for men from leaders in the community and beyond.

Better Man Ministries is a nonprofit organization serving men, young men, churches and para-churches for 15 years with its annual men’s event that challenges and invites men to a higher calling.

Although the annual event has been postponed, Buckley wanted to continue encouraging men to better themselves in times of uncertainty. The daily, short videos are posted on The Better Man Event's website and social media pages and are meant to encourage and inspire men in Central Florida and beyond.

"These are guys you know in your community and beyond who are cheering you on to be better men, especially in these uncertain times," Buckley said of the leaders creating the daily videos.
