Health care workers at Orlando Health's Horizon West Emergency Room and Medical Pavilion recently enjoyed a special caravan put on by the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

The parade of lights and sirens took place Thursday, April 23. Participants included OCSO, the Orange County Fire Rescue Department, and the Reedy Creek Fire and Rescue Department Emergency Medical Services.

Deputies and first responders thanked the medical staff for their work on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic as they drove around the facility with lights and sirens blaring. Even the OCSO Mounted Unit joined in to show its support.

This was the third hospital visit OCSO has done in the last several weeks. Deputies have also visited AdventHealth's main campus in Orlando, as well as Orlando Health's Dr. P. Phillips Hospital last week.
