The COVID-19 statistics reported by the health departments for the state of Florida and Orange County show discrepancies in the numbers reported for Wednesday, Dec. 9.

Residential deaths in Orange County were reported at 658 yesterday, Tuesday, Dec. 8, and today were reported at 642. On the state’s website, cumulative cases for the county were 62,041 yesterday and 60,291 today.

In addition, the numbers for the individual municipalities and communities in West Orange County were incorrect — all but Ocoee showed a lower number today than yesterday.
