Windermere Run Among the Lakes postponed

Windermere's 19th annual UMC Run Among the Lakes 5K and 10K races have been postponed until further notice.

Nora Brophy, chair of Windermere's Parks and Recreation Committee, stated in an email that due to the growing number of cancellations and closures, it has become clear that the races need to be postponed until it is safe for all participants.

Race runners will be notified of the postponement, as well as the new date when it is scheduled.

Brophy added that the health of the community is a critical issue, and Parks and Recreation will continue to monitor current events.
