Orange County Public Schools will be providing grab-and-go meals March 23 to 27 for students in need.

The meals will be available for pickup between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the car loop of each school site. OCPS has designated 50 school sites as meal pickup locations.

According to OCPS, district staff will distribute the meals directly to those in their vehicle, like a drive-thru service, upon arrival. Students must be present to receive these meals.

Meals also will be given directly to students who walk or ride bikes. OCPS added that based on recommendations from federal and state leaders, all meals should be taken home to eat.

Designated school sites within the West Orange County area include:

  • Dr. Phillips High School, 6500 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando
  • Frangus Elementary School, 380 Killington Way, Orlando
  • Gotha Middle School, 9155 Gotha Road, Windermere
  • Maxey Elementary School, 602 E. Story Road, Winter Garden
