New S.R. 429 ramps to open in Winter Garden

Drivers in the Winter Garden area are set to experience improved travel conditions with the opening of new State Road 429 ramps.

Central Florida Expressway Authority announced it will open the new ramps on its S.R. 429/Stoneybrook West Parkway project on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The project has been under construction for months now to improve traffic flow and relieve congestion at the S.R. 429/County Road 535 interchange. Drivers will enjoy new ramps to and from Stoneybrook West Parkway, just about a mile south of the S.R. 429/C.R. 535 interchange.

CFX's project includes new exit ramp from southbound S.R. 429 to Stoneybrook West Parkway, and a new entrance ramp from Stoneybrook West Parkway to northbound S.R. 429. Auxiliary lanes and All- Electronic Tolling (which allows payment by E-PASS, other accepted transponders and Pay By Plate) were added, as well.
