Ocoee seeking photos for calendar

The city wants landscapes, activities and life in Ocoee for its next community calendar.

Amateur and professional photographers are invited to enter their best images in the city of Ocoee’s Calendar Photo Contest. Shutterbugs are invited to capture the city’s beautiful landscapes, active people and vibrant community life. 

Winning photographs will be published in the city’s 2021 community calendar.  Photographers will be given photo credit in the calendar. 

Photo contest participants may submit up to five photo entries. Pictures must be submitted in a high resolution, digital format 600 DPI TIFF or JPEG file. Photographs may be emailed to [email protected] or delivered on a flash drive or CD to Ocoee City Hall.

Calendar images will be selected on the basis of originality, creativity and quality of reproduction. A photo entry form and informational flyer are available at ocoee.org. These documents are also available at Ocoee City Hall. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 1.

Community Editor Amy Quesinberry was born at the old West Orange Memorial Hospital and raised in Winter Garden. Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble.
