Oakland to discuss roundabout

Commissioners will get an update on the road changes coming to the west end of Oakland Avenue.

The Oakland Town Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, for its regular commission meeting. One of the discussions will be the roundabout slated for the west end of Oakland Avenue at J.W. Jones Road, Old Highway 50 and the West Orange Trail near West Colonial Drive.

Also on the agenda is the first public hearing of an ordinance that would allow a special-exception use permit for the establishment of a school for grades K5 through eight.
