Death investigation underway in Ocoee, police say

An active death investigation is underway after Ocoee police received reports of a dead man found in a vacant field, police said.

Police responded to the call at 8:18 a.m. Monday, April 19. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the man in a field near the southwest corner of Bluford Avenue and Franklin Street. The victim's identity is pending positive identification.
