Because of an increase in COVID-19 cases and the safety of its supporters, the Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund board decided to postpone the 9th annual Jimmy Crabtree Cancer Fund Family Fun Bowl scheduled for Aug. 15.

“One of the factors is our decision is that our events always include past cancer recipients, health care workers as well as first responders,” the Crabtree family announced. “Therefore, we would like to take necessary precautions for the safety of our community.

“While the pandemic has put many people's lives on hold, it has not stopped cancer from touching so many lives,” the Crabtrees said. “Therefore, we are continuing our efforts without the traditional fundraising we have used in the past.”

They are looking for a date in August 2022 and will announce plans as they are confirmed.
