Walt Disney World is making a variety of updates and additions to their park just in time for their 50th anniversary on Oct. 1.

On Tuesday Disney revealed more details about the new Cirque du Soleil show, 'Drawn to Life,' set to premiere this fall.

The long-running 'La Nouba' show, which ceased in 2017, was to be replaced in 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic struck Central Florida, causing Disney to shut down.

Drawn to Life will be a collaboration between Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Imagineering and is a live acrobatic show that will tell the story of Julie — a girl who discovers that her Disney animator father left behind an unfinished animation.

The show will debut on Nov. 18, 2021, with 64 cast members performing Tuesday through Saturday at Disney Springs. Tickets for Drawn to Life go on sale at 7 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 20 here.

The theme park also revealed a new paid reservation service on Wednesday that will replace the free FastPass+ system.

The original FastPass+ was suspended in May of 2020 due to the pandemic and although at the time Disney had said the system was only paused to help maintain safety precautions, the system is now set to be replaced by Genie+.

Genie+ will premiere as part of the resort's new free planned app Disney Genie and will offer a variety of new options. Guests will be able to use Genie+ in order to purchase attraction reservations and skip the standby line to go straight into a 'Lightning Lane.'

The reservation system will be divided into two levels. The first level will allow guests to access multiple Disney rides across all four parks for only $15 per ticket per day and allow them to book one reservation at a time throughout the day starting as early as 7 a.m. The second level will then allow guests increased access and the ability to separately purchase guaranteed access for up to two popular attractions.

Both Lightning Lane and Genie+ will launch in the fall.
