New exhibit at Winter Garden Heritage

Winter Garden Heritage is now showing for their newest exhibit "At the Movies: Winter Garden's Silver Screens."

The exhibit "showcases the history of all the movie theaters that served to entertain West Orange County movie patrons from the 1910s to today," according to Winter Garden Heritage. 

Movies featured will include "Titanic," "The Women," "Gone with the Wind," and many more. 

Film historian Irv Lipscomb will kick off the opening with a presentation on Winter Garden's movie palaces. 

The presentation will occur on Thursday, Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Winter Garden Heritage Museum. 

However, locals will be able to visit the exhibit at any time from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
