Krispy Kreme sweetens the deal

Two free doughnuts for the vaccinated.

Krispy Kreme is bringing back another sweet deal for those who are vaccinated.

The company recently announced their "Show Your Heart" promotion which will offer one free Original Glazed doughnut and one free Original Glazed Heart doughnut to every person who has received at least one COVID-19 shot, starting Aug. 30.

The deal will begin exactly a week from when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the Pfizer vaccine.

"We all hoped we'd be near the end of this pandemic by now. We're not. So, please consider getting vaccinated if you've not done so already. And then enjoy and share two amazing doughnuts with our heart-felt thanks," Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said in a statement.

The two doughnut deal will run through Sept. 5.

However, after the weeklong promotion ends, Krispy Kreme will continue its original promotion, which began in March, of one free Original Glazed doughnut every day with proof of at least one COVID-19 shot through the end of 2021.
