Be a part of the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games

The event is set to be the largest USA Games in history.

The 2022 Special Olympics USA Games will be returning this year and are set to take place in Orlando, starting in June. 

The games will be not only be the largest USA Games in history, but the largest humanitarian event in the State of Florida’s history.

The 2022 games will include over 4,300 athletes, over 1,300 coaches and over 125,000 family, friends and other spectators. 

"We all have reasons to shine," the Orlando Special Olympics committee said on their website. "For Special Olympics athletes, one of those reasons is the love of sport. Special Olympics athletes display remarkable abilities not only on the field, but in all areas of life. By celebrating their dedication and perseverance, we become champions for amore inclusive world. A world where we all Shine As One."

Volunteers are currently needed for the event. A full list of qualifications, waivers and information can be found here

Competition and special events will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, various Disney Resorts, and select competition venues in Orlando, Orange County and Osceola County.  

The games will run from June 5, 2022 through June 12, 2022.
