The Cure Classic All-Star football game will feature more than just the top high school seniors from Orange and Seminole counties on Dec. 16.

Anna Leal-Melo, president of the Windermere High School sports medicine club, has been selected to be on the sideline as the athletic trainer for the game. She will be recognized at halftime for her four-year tenure with the school and her path toward pursuing sports medicine.

Windermere will be well-represented on Dec. 16 with Leal-Melo and Wolverines running back Elijah Blackmon being part of the action.

The Cure Classic All-Star Game takes place at Showalter Field in Winter Park. The entry fee is a Christmas Gift or donation for the Coaches Toy Challenge. The organization distributes the gifts throughout the community.
