Oakland Town Commission to meet tonight

The Town Commission meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Oakland Meeting Hall.

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its final regular meeting of 2021 at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also can be accessed virtually.

Commissioners will discuss a preliminary site plan for a self-storage unit, a temporary  moratorium on applications for multifamily developments, utility rates and prohibited parking in specific areas of town.

The consent agenda includes an interlocal agreement with the city of Winter Garden and discussions on the infrastructure at The Avenues on Oakland, planning and human resources office space, and a schedule for salaries at the Oakland Police Department.
