Oakland Town Commission to meet tonight

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also can be accessed virtually.

Commissioners will discuss additional playground features, appoint a voting delegate to the FLC 95th Annual Conference, and vote on architectural elevations and site plans for Kiddie Academy.

The consent agenda includes the pay policy for teachers at Oakland Avenue Charter School, Best Foot Forward Pedestrian Safety Program, an easement for a Longleaf trail connection, and the manager’s report.
