The suspect in the shooting death of Capucine Carson has been identified.

Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies said Toffara Snow, 37, has been charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm. According to deputies, Snow shot Carson, 37, and her 3-year-old daughter on June 6 in an apartment complex at the 8700 block of Wellesley Lake Drive. Carson was pronounced dead at the scene. Snow and Carson were husband and wife, but he is not the father of the 3-year-old girl.
