Town to discuss Oakland Avenue design plan

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also can be accessed virtually.

The commission will vote on several ordinances pertaining to the Cra-Mar Groves industrial development project, picketing and no-parking signs, and will discuss the design plan for Oakland Avenue.

The consent agenda includes a vote on mental health insurance, teacher raises and a salary schedule for a staffing specialist at Oakland Avenue Charter School; the infrastructure plan for the RaceTrac project; and the manager’s report.
