Oakland Town Commission to meet Tuesday

Residents can attend the meeting virtually or in person.

The Oakland Town Commission’s March 9 meeting is expected to be short, but there are several items on the agenda to be discussed.

The commission will vote on enhancements for the pedestrian crossing on Oakland Avenue near Sansparilla Road, a lien release for a property on North Nixon Street, and the termination of an old retirement plan for town employees.

The meeting will take place in person at 7 p.m. at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. Residents wanting to attend virtually can do so by joining the Zoom call at bit.ly/3ryal81. The meeting ID is 899 9244 2645, and the passcode is 9xTmX8.
