Halloween may have just passed, but one school in Oakland is continuing the spooky celebration.

Oakland Avenue Charter is hosting its Trunk-or-Treat event tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the school, which is located at 456 E. Oakland Ave.

The event, which was originally planned for the end of October, was canceled when the West Orange area was racked with wind and stormy weather.

However, the school says the rescheduled event is set to be bigger than ever.

Guests are invited to dress as their favorite storybook character, participate in face painting, and enjoy music, games, and prizes in a safe and family-friendly setting.

The free event will also feature a kid's choice award for the best decorated car.

Candy and treat donations will be accepted in the Discover After School program at the school from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

For more information, call 407-358-7240 or visit the school's website.
