Police arrest two teens shooting at each other outside Winter Garden home

On Saturday, Nov. 20, local law enforcement officers arrested two teens who were shooting at each other in the West Orange area.

Local law enforcement officers arrested two teenagers who were shooting at each other in the West Orange area this weekend. 

On Saturday, Nov. 20, officers with the Winter Garden Police Department said they were called to a home on Winford Court. The call came at around 1 p.m.

Police said two teens were outside a Winter Garden home in the front yard shooting at each other. 

Both the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the Ocoee Police Department responded to assist the Winter Garden Police Department. The Apopka Police Department and the Winter Park Police Department also responded on scene as part of a multi-jurisdictional SWAT Team. 

Upon arrival of the law enforcement officers, the teens ran into the home in an attempt to barricaded themselves inside.

According to police officers, SWAT members then arrived on scene to extract the teens after a search warrant was obtained.

Officers reported that there were no injuries seen at the home and the teens were arrested.
