Traffic alert in Town of Windermere

Residents in Windermere may notice a lane closure on Main St. and 3rd Ave. during tree removal services today.

Windermere residents may want to take an alternative route if traveling in the Main Street area today.

The Town of Windermere announced a traffic alert for today, Monday, Nov. 22, as tree removal services will be taking place.

Enviro Tree Service will be taking down a large tree at Main St. and 3rd Ave. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Due to the large size of the tree, the town said Main St. will have alternating lane blockages throughout the day.

A crew will be in place to direct traffic, but drivers should expect delays and plan accordingly.
