Eight FA players honored as first team all-district by Florida Athletic Coaches Association

The Florida Athletic Coaches Association released its All-District team on Tuesday for Class 2A District 11, and Foundation Academy was well represented. 

Eight Lions were named First Team All-District. Quarterback Greg Jones, tight end Braden Holcomb and offensive lineman Edward Byrd were selected for the offense. Byrd, defensive ends Bryan Thomas Jr. and Donovan Branch, defensive tackle Reggie Jean, cornerback Dominic Sanzone and safety Ian Garcia were first team defense. 

Garcia was also named the first team punter and second team kicker and receiver along with Sanzone.
