The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Shred-A-Thon this weekend.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Freedom High School, 2500 W. Taft Vineland Road, Orlando.

The Shred-A-Thon aims to help community members dispose of their sensitive information in a safe and secure way.

The OCSO is encouraging locals to come out ready to shred with items such as paper, folders, envelops, tapes and more. The event is drive-up only and completely contactless so residents can stay safe with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
