Horizon West Theater Company hosting auditions for Halloween show

The Horizon West Theatre Company is seeking community members to audition for its Halloween show.

"The Great Fright Way," a Halloween cabaret, will feature a spooktacular song list for the frightfully fabulous.

Those who audition can use their performance for not only the Halloween show, but also Music Theatre International’s "All Together Now," a global event celebrating local theatre with some of Broadway’s biggest hits, set to premiere in November.

All ages are welcome to audition for All Together Now, ages 18 and older for The Great Fright Way, and participants can specify interest in one or both shows.

Those who choose to audition should come prepared with 16 bars of a musical theater piece as well as accompaniment tracks as an accompanist will not be provided.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. at the People of the Faith Lutheran Church at 228 Windermere Road in Winter Garden.

Those who are unable to make the in-person audition can submit video auditions to [email protected] until 5 p.m. on Oct. 4.
