The Winter Garden Farmers Market will expand in October with new vendors and activities.

Beginning Oct. 9, the market will expand to host more than 100 vendors weekly, as well as provide new submarkets, entertainment, and hands-on activities.

According to the Winter Garden newsletter, the additional vendors, selection of fresh produce, plants and flowers, food and beverage, artisan creations, and merchandise will now be more varied and accessible than ever.

The new and special-themed submarkets will include a kid’s market area with children-oriented foods and merchandise. Local artists will also set up in a new arts market, adjacent to the SOBO Art Gallery, to display their works that are available to purchase.

Interested artists that would like to have a vendor booth to sell their works at the arts market can click here to complete an application.

Other activities available will include weekly entertainment, games, live music, special programming and classes, and more.

The market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Downtown Pavilion at 104 S. Lakeview Ave.
