Girl Scout Troop 1109 of Citrus Council has created a fun outdoor escape room adventure at the Oakland Nature Preserve, 747 Machete Trail.

The rules for escape room participants are simple: Enter a magical world to find the 10 clues within one hour and “repeat them three times to save the preserve from a toxic air release that threatens to turn all the taxidermy animals into zombies.” Trail markers will help participants stay on the correct trail.

Information and a link to a Google form are available at bit.ly/3ArAeMa.

Rick Thomas at Branch Out Parks – Outdoor Escape Rooms was the adviser on the project.

Do you have what it takes to Escape at the Preserve? Those who complete the ONP adventure can collect an Escape at the Preserve patch created by one of the scouts.
