Windermere Town Council to meet tonight

The Town Council meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Windermere Town Hall.

The Windermere Town Council will hold its second regular meeting of 2022 at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main St. 

Council members will discuss adopting a new property rights element amending recreation and the open space element related to Fernwood Park.

The consent agenda includes conversation on a variance to allow a reduced setback from the Normal High-Water Line for a swimming pool at 11 Main St.

Other items up for discussion include the town of Windermere adopting Orange County's Local Mitigation Strategy Resolution, a contract with Horizon Land Management for stormwater desilt and video services, and a piggyback of an Orange County Contract with Condor Construction Corp. for sidewalk repair and maintenance.
